Ruth set out early today from the gite. I wanted to go to the local boulangerie to pick up some bread, but decided against it. The trail today offered a variant route that was nine hours long, promising amazing views, but I decided to stick to the tried and true route that was only six and a half hours long. Ruth and I have been walking the trail on our own, just so we can do our own thing, and it’s been working well.

Reached the town of Les Gras, picked up some provisions, and kept walking all the way past the small town of Theverot. The gite I wanted to stay at was closed.

Finally had to wild camp it in a pasture after ducking under some farmhouses to avoid the rain. Had to do it twice during the day and it rained all night too.

I’ve lost some weight, but I wish I had a weighing scale to know how much. When I shower I can see my feet now.

And there’s Mr. Snuffleupagus. He’s making a comeback.

He too wants to know when I’m going to get a girlfriend. (Hang in there, buddy.)

He says hello.
